Child commercial sexual exploitation is widespread in Acapulco. In the central district of the central zone, it mostly involves girls. But in the area from la Condesa to la Diana, in the streets and on the beach, a group of some 40 boys can be found, most between 14 and 17 years old. Those who come to exploit this group of boys include Mexicans as well as foreign visitors, mainly Americans and Canadians.
